Our story

Founded in 2013 as Vicki Heng Law Corporation, our firm began with a focused expertise in intellectual property. We have since grown into a multi-disciplinary practice, navigating everything from high-stakes commercial disputes and employment matters to sensitive matrimonial, criminal, and private client work.

Our rebranding to Linea Law LLC marks this period of significant expansion. The name Linea reflects our commitment to alignment; ensuring our legal strategies move in a direct, purposeful line toward our clients' objectives. While our identity has evolved, our core philosophy remains unchanged: providing careful, considered counsel with the client's interests at the heart of every matter.

We believe that exceptional legal counsel is built on the strength of the partnership between advocate and ally. Our approach is defined by a rigorous commitment to being client-centric, ensuring that every strategy we craft is anchored in our clients' unique objectives. Vicki Heng

Managing Director

Vicki founded the firm in 2013. She graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1998 and was called to the Bar in 1999. She helps clients develop, protect and enforce their intellectual property rights, advising on brand clearance, protection, franchising, licensing and technology transfers, and handles contentious cases including infringement, trade mark opposition, invalidation and cancellation. She sits on the board of CaringSG.

Kelvin Tan

Director

Kelvin brings three decades of legal experience to the firm. He graduated from the University of Hull in 1995, was called to the Bar of Middle Temple in 1996 and to the Singapore Bar in 1998. His practice covers general commercial litigation, private client and matrimonial proceedings, personal protection matters, estates, trusts and probate litigation, and corporate advisory work. He is named a Recommended Lawyer in Doyle's Guide's 2026 Singapore Leading Trusts, Estates & Probate Litigation Lawyers.

Sara Ng

Director

Sara Ng is a civil and commercial litigation lawyer. She advises businesses, founders, C-suite executives and high-net-worth individuals on complex disputes involving commercial conflicts, shareholder and partnership disputes, employment disputes, and fraud and asset recovery. She has also acted in high-value private client matters involving family wealth and cross-border assets. She is recognised as one of Asian Legal Business' Asia 40 Under 40, and as a Leading Lawyer in Employment & Labour by Doyle's Guide (2025 and 2026).

Rebecca Vathanasin

Director

Rebecca graduated from the University of Manchester in 2014 and was called to the Bar in August 2017. She specialises in matrimonial law, is well-versed in Family Justice Courts and Syariah Court proceedings, and has practised in all levels of the Singapore Courts. She volunteers with Pro Bono SG and the SCWO Legal Clinic, and is an Assigned Solicitor with the Legal Aid Bureau.
